Becoming a (TNA) Jedi is done in 4 steps.

Step 1:
You need to have played on one of our servers and met a number of the members. A clan member would have directed you here. You must register on our forums (link on the (TNA) homepage.) There, you must contribute a thread on the application forum introducing yourself to the clan and expressing your desire to join (TNA).

Clan members may ask questions of you on the thread if they desire. Questions are asked to test your character, which is the most important part of your admission to the clan. You will then have needed to have read and understood all the rules of the Clan and accepted them unconditionally. You should also not be an active member of any other JA clan without special arrangement with clan leaders.

Step 2:
You may then be given a tryout, which is a test of basic skill, tactics and style. If you are successful at the tryout, you will become a (TNA) Padawan, and you will be allowed to put the (TNA) Padawan tag, (tna), to show you are a Padawan. After this, you will start your 1-month-minimum probationary membership as a (TNA) Padawan.

During this probation, you will be paired with a (TNA) full member. The member will, in effect, be your Master and you will be their Padawan learner. You will be expected to train together and he or she is expected to teach you all about (TNA) and help you become a full member yourself (Please see Padawan and Master page).

Step 3:
During your 1-month-minimum as a Padawan, your character will be monitored by your Master, the High Council, the Council, Master Jedi and Jedi of (TNA). If, for any reason, there is concern over the nature of your character or your ability to follow the rules, you may be deemed not-suitable for full membership, and your Padawan membership may end.

We also recommend that you ask other clan members to help train you for the full testing, as they may have skills your master does not. Doing so in no way undermines the Master-Padawan system, and it is a totally acceptable setup.

Step 4:
When you have served at least 1 month of probation as a (TNA) Padawan, your Master, at his or her discretion, will call your trial, and you will be invited for full Jedi testing (See Jedi Trials Page). This will be a rigorous test of skill, tactics, style, sportsmanship, and, most importantly, character. This will be done with at least 4 full-member testers and one High Council member.

If successful, you will be granted full membership to (TNA). You will be allowed to put (TNA) in capitals by your name to show your rank, and you will be able to participate in the Championship. You will also be able to win Gladiators, rather than just play in it...

If you are unsuccessful at trial, you may serve another month's probation under a new Master and retry, or you may turn in your tag if you desire. If such becomes the case, the leadership will be sure to attend to the matter as soon as possible.

Addendum
Do not forget, however, that when you are accepted as a Padawan or a full member, you are an ambassador of this clan and its good name. You will be expected to stick to the rules and show the proper respect to other members or Padawans of this clan, or, at that, any other player who chooses to play on our server.

By the same token, when playing on other clan servers, or even on public servers, you are representing The New Alliance. The same respect applies, and you are expected to abide by their server rules.

Any reports of misbehavior may result in your removal from the clan. Should you be removed, and should you continue to disrupt the activities of (TNA), may be banned from this site and, in serious cases, you may be banned from the server and/or forums as well. We have no problem reporting serious and persistent trouble-makers to their ISP.
