(TNA) Jedi Trials:
After the 1-months-minimum probationary period, your Master can deem you ready for the Jedi Trial. If and when this takes happens, you will be tested by 1 High Council Member, and 4 full members of (TNA). (Although previously a stipulation of the trial, it is no longer necessary for your Master to be present.) The trial will be a major test of skill, tactics, style, character, sportsmanship, and the ability to cope against the odds. The Testing will take place at the leisure of the (TNA) High Council on a (TNA) server. Testers are asked to read and understand the "Guidelines for (TNA) Testers" prior to the tests.
The tests consist of the following:
3 Style duels:
Including: 1 Duel using only Blue style, 1 Duel using only Yellow style, 1 Duel using only Red style. You will lose marks if you switch styles at any time during these duels. All (TNA) rules are to be observed.
6 Duels:
Using all single saber styles under all normal (TNA) rules, you will lose marks if the (TNA) rules are not observed.
3 Dual Saber duels:
In these 3 fights you may use anything avaliable for the dual sabers, including reducing to 1 saber for Blue stance. All (TNA) rules are to be observed.
3 Saber Staff duels:
In these 3 fights you may use anything avaliable for the saber staff, including reducing to 1 saber for Yellow stance. All (TNA) rules are to be observed.
3 Duels:
Using any saber(s), all styles under all normal (TNA) rules, you will lose marks if the (TNA) rules are not observed.
2 v 2 Duel:
You will then choose a partner from the testers and compete in a 2 v 2 match against 2 testers. The map is set at FFA and it is possible to hurt your own partner. Killing your partner will lose you points as you also have to take care of his or her welfare. It is highly recommended that you have all (TNA) skins so you may better see your partner. You must use Single saber for this section of the trial.
2 v 1 Duel:
Then you will fight a match against two opponents at once. Single saber is required, although style is your choice.
Run the Gauntlet:
You will then face each of your testers one at a time. Your goal is to make it through all of your testers and become one of the few (TNA) to ever pass this test. There are no breaks in between fights, and bowing is not necessary before each fight starts. You may pick up 1 bacta before the match starts, but you can still only pick up a total of 4, equaling 100 health. Bacta canisters are located in plain view of the fighting area. Please make sure that you have a key binded to "use item", so that you can use the bacta. Not having a key binded for "use" will not be an acceptable reason for failing the Gauntlet.
Questioning:
After the fighting portion of the test, your testers have the option of asking you questions. Each tester can ask 2 questions on their turn, and more at the end of the rotation, if they so choose and if the High Council member in charge of the trial agrees to allow it. This is the most important part of the test.
The testers at your trial will then vote. In order to receive a Padawanship position, you must get a majority of yes votes. If you recieve a majority of yes votes, then you will receive your (tna) tag.
Your Assessment:
Afterwards, the testers will take a secret vote on your trial performance and membership thus far.
Votes by the testers can be cast as either yes, no, or undecided. An undecided vote simply voids the vote, meaning that you still need a majority of yes votes to be successful.
You will be informed there and then as to the tester's assesment. Should you be successful, we will allow you to wear a full (TNA) tag. However, should you be unsuccessful, you will be given the choice of another 1-month-minimum probation or the option to leave the clan.
This testing is tough, but with training and guidance from your Master, you should overcome this obstacle with relative ease. Once you have completed your trial and passed, you must go to the (TNA) Oaths section of the forum and post your oath. The text for it can be found in that forum. This is an agreement to uphold the values and laws of (TNA), something all (TNA), regardless of rank, must do.
The maps you need can be found in the Downloads section.
